Job summary

A rehabilitation facility is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve food while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate has six months of experience in quantity food preparation and a Food Handlers Certificate. Job description

Prepares and serves food using proper food handling and food safety techniques for patients, employees and special events, resulting in foods that taste good, are served at the proper temperature, and in an attractive manner in accordance with established standards. Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards.

Pay

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in quantity food preparation.
• Food Handlers Certificate (If required by Local City, County or State)

Desired Qualification

• Experience with therapeutic diet preparation preferred.
