Job summary

Homestead of Olathe Memory Care in Olathe, KS is seeking a dedicated cook to round out our kitchen staff. This position offers part-time hours with flexibility to fit family needs.

Under the guidance of the community's Dietary Managers, you will prepare meals, ensure high quality and sanitation, keep a steady pace for timely service, assist with kitchen organization, and support dining services as needed to meet residents' nutritional needs.

As a Cook, you will work under the general supervision of the community's Dietary Managers to:

• Prepares various foods depending on menu, recipe, and diet breakdowns for each meal.
• Ensures delivery of optimal food quality, timely service, as well as high sanitation standards.
• Must be able to work at a constant pace to ensure that food is prepared and served on time for each meal of the day.
• Assist with organizing and cleaning kitchen, putting stock away, and ensuring our community residents are receiving the nutritional needs each day.
• May assist with dining services that can include dish room and dining room
