Oklahoma Heart Hospital is seeking a Cook to prepare food for patients, guests, cafeteria, and dining areas. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation, and manage proper storage of food and supplies according to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing items, ensuring equipment is used correctly, reporting issues, and upholding health standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior culinary experience is valued to support heart care services.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Formalized food safety and sanitation training preferred.
• Experience: One (1) year of related experience with high volume cooking line food preparation in a full service establishment.

• Prepares food items as assigned for patients and guest, cafeteria, physicians’ dining room, and catering.
• Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in the kitchen in order to meet established health and sanitation standards.
• Ensures all food is handled and stored properly; operates all food service equipment according to manufacturers’ directions.
• Reports equipment problems to Manager.

The OHH Cook is responsible for preparing food products utilizing basic and advanced cooking techniques, standardized recipes and plating guidelines, meeting production schedules in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures while ensuring proper utilization and storage of food and supplies.
