Eggs Up Grill Evans is hiring Cooks to join our BOH team. We’re seeking dependable players who move with urgency and adapt during breakfast and lunch rushes.

As a line cook, you’ll prepare breakfast and lunch items to spec, help with prep and station turnover, and uphold food safety standards. A strong work ethic and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential.

Open 6:00 AM–2:00 PM daily with a 4-day paid working interview to show your skills.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including line cook/prep cook roles.
• Familiarity with kitchen terminology and equipment.
• Willingness to pursue ServSafe certification is a plus.

Eggs Up Grill in Evans is hiring Cooks to join our BOH team. We need people who are dependable, move with urgency, and can be flexible when the shift needs change (breakfast rush doesn’t wait).

What you’ll do

• Cook breakfast + lunch items to spec (speed + consistency matter)
• Work the line during peak hours and keep tickets moving
• Help with prep, stocking, and side work as assigned
• Follow food safety + sanitation standards every shift
• Communicate well and support the team—no drama, just results

What we need from you

• On-time is a must. We run a tight kitchen and punctuality matters.
• Dependable: show up ready to work, every scheduled shift
• Flexible: able to jump stations, stay a little later when needed, and help where the kitchen needs you
• Line cook experience preferred (breakfast experience is a plus)
• Coachable, positive attitude, and handles pressure well
• ServSafe is a plus (or willingness to get certified)

We have a strict policy on call-outs and tardiness. If you have a pattern of last-minute call-outs or being late, this won’t be a good fit. If you’re reliable and communicate early, you’ll do great here.

Schedule

• Open 6:00 AM–2:00 PM daily
• Morning availability is a big plus

Requirements

Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef/prep cook

Familiarity and fluency in kitchen terminology

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures, and equipment

Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Familiar with industry best practices

Willingness to pursue ServSafe certification is a plus
