Job summary

Apploi in the United States is seeking a Cook to support food preparation in accordance with current federal, state, and local guidelines to ensure that quality meals are consistently served.

Responsibilities include reviewing menus, preparing meals and snacks on schedule, and assisting in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by physicians and dieticians while maintaining strict food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year dietary/food experience preferred but not required.
• State Food Service Sanitation certification required by hire.
• Food Sanitation License preferred.

The Cook is responsible for food preparation in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that quality food service is always provided.

Essential Duties

• Review menus prior to preparation of food and prepare timely meals and snacks according to food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• One (1) year dietary/food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred but not required.
• Must have State Food Service Sanitation certification.
• Food Sanitation License preferred.
