Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of food preparation tasks according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use utensils and operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
• Cook food using methods like baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, etc.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Store food properly following safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor.
• Follow safety policies, including food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure security of company assets.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to acquire food safety certification.
• Basic math and counting skills.

This role may require physical effort such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
