Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in New York is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents, following standardized recipes and menus. You will ensure safety and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment to support a positive dining experience.

You’ll follow dietary modifications, record temperatures, stock and store food safely, and assist with dishwashing and dining service as needed. This role offers growth, benefits, and a team dedicated to residents’ well-being.

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator

19.75 - 24.75
