Job summary

Youth In Need is seeking a Cook to provide children with healthy, nourishing meals and manage all kitchen operations. The role requires planning menus, meeting dietary needs, and ensuring safety standards in a childcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for large groups in a childcare setting.
• Knowledge of health and sanitation regulations is a bonus.
• CPR certification is preferred or obtainable.
• ServSafe certification is a bonus; willingness to obtain it if needed.

You will plan, develop and implement all aspects of kitchen operations while ensuring that all specialized diets and/or allergy needs are met, as needed.

This Position:

We are interested in a Cook with a High School Diploma or Equivalency. Having your ServSafe Certification is a bonus, but we’ll help you obtain it if you don't have it.

We're looking for someone with experience cooking for large groups and in a childcare setting. Knowledge of Health and Sanitation Regulations is a bonus.

Ability to be CPR certified and Class E Driver's License are required.

This is an hourly position, starting at $18.19/hour.
