Job summary

Beautiful Beginnings Early in the Kansas City area is seeking a part-time childcare cook to prepare nutritious, kid-friendly meals for our young learners. You will plan meals, maintain a clean kitchen, and ensure safety and dietary needs are met.

We offer flexible scheduling, a supportive team, training opportunities, and competitive pay for 15–20 hours per week on mornings Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a cook in licensed childcare or school setting.
• Knowledge of child nutrition and food safety practices.
• Must pass background check and meet state/federal license requirements.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Meal planning, preparing and serving meals to young children.
• Food safety—ensure guidelines are followed during preparation and storage.
• Maintain inventory and place food orders as needed.
• Accommodate children's dietary restrictions or allergies.
• Kitchen maintenance: cleaning, sanitizing, ordering supplies, and menu planning.
• Attractive food presentation.

• Kitchen maintenance includes cleaning, sanitizing, removing trash, organizing groceries, preparing food orders, menu planning,ordering menu supplies.
