Job summary

Baymont Inn & Penny's Diner of Fremont, NE is seeking a Cook to join our team. The cook will prepare banquet items, handle restaurant food orders, maintain a clean kitchen, and assist with breakfast production under the supervision of the Executive Chef and General Manager.

The ideal candidate should have a food handler’s permit, basic food preparation skills, and be able to work PM shifts; at least 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work PM shift.
• Basic food preparation.
• One (1) year food preparation experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all banquet items as specified by function sheets.
• Responsible for preparation of all food orders from restaurant.
• Ensures proper stocking line for menu items.
• Supervises dishwasher to ensure adequate utensils are available for guest needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen at all times.
• Production of breakfast.
• Performs other duties as requested by Executive Chef and General Manager

• Must be extremely dependable regarding attendance and punctuality.
