Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that support residents' health and enjoyment in a safe, clean kitchen environment. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure quality and presentation, and accommodate dietary modifications while maintaining records and safety standards.

The role includes assisting in dining service, supporting dishwashing, and occasionally leading production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals according to standardized recipes.
• Ability to follow dietary modifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen and record temperatures.
• Assist with dishwashing and dining service as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
