Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a responsible Cook to prepare meals for residents, following standardized recipes and dietary needs. You will ensure quality, safety, and timely service in a clean, organized kitchen environment.

You will record production data, manage inventory, and maintain compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines, with opportunities to lead in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator

Pay Range: 19.65 - 24.65
