Job summary

Snow Mountain, LLC in Lassen Volcanic National Park, CA is seeking a motivated Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare items in line with corporate recipes and standards, delivering hospitality that exceeds guest expectations while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements, and use of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest and team interactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods and coordinating with others.

Responsibilities

As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen is consumed with gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for the those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors!

Summary of Position

As a Culinary Team Member, you will play a vital role in preparing food items in alignment with Corporate recipes and established standards. Your dedication to delivering outstanding hospitality will contribute to our mission of surpassing guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and Lead Cook to uphold the approved menu and exceed guest service expectations.
• Embrace a positive, can-do attitude as a valued member of our efficient and highly motivated culinary team.
• Follow defined Company recipes and Safe Food Handling procedures to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Complete all required food and safety logs promptly, adhering to Company procedures and regulatory standards.

Position Requirements

• Knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements, and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively interact with various personality types.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, spending the majority of the shift on your feet and in close proximity to others.
• Physical capability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, with frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting.
