Responsibilities

• Prepare food for patients, staff, and visitors following safe cooking techniques, including for multiple therapeutic diets, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Support quality control measures, such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.
• Prepare and serve food according to menu and dietary requirements, using appropriate kitchen equipment, and modify preparations for food allergies.
• Follow industry standards, regulations, and guidelines, including monitoring food temperatures and preventing cross-contamination.
• Maintain proper labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, with at least two years of food service experience.

Licensure/Certification

• Washington State Food Handler Permit upon hire.
