Job summary

Oak Creek Terrace, a Caring Place Healthcare Group Facility, is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare food in a large-volume setting, following federal, state, and local guidelines to ensure safe, high-quality meals for residents.

We value independence and teamwork, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and are offering a supportive culture with competitive pay and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a cook or assistant cook in a large volume kitchen.
• Minimum of 10th grade education.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift/push/pull in excess of 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Dietitian and Food Service Manager to ensure quality service.

Your Role as an Cook:

The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, without established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Dietitian and or Food Service Manager, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
