Job summary

Provincial Senior Living seeks a dedicated Cook to join our on-site team. You will prepare hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar, and service lines, ensuring accurate portions and adherence to standardized recipes. Quality and presentation are essential as you taste and adjust dishes to meet our high standards.

Experience in senior living, restaurants, catering, or banquets is preferred. Weekend availability is required, and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies this

Qualifications

• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Availability to work weekends.

• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
