Job summary

Concord Care Center is seeking a Cook for day and night shifts on a part-time basis. You will prepare meals for residents, ensuring they receive the correct items per dietary needs and maintain safety and quality throughout service.

You will record temperatures and follow recipes for large-volume cooking while upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction. Prior SNF foodservice experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Foodservice preferred but not required — we will invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion meals for residents in accordance with dietary needs.
• Record temperatures to ensure food safety and equipment safety.
• Follow recipes for large-volume meal preparation and maintain high quality dining experiences.

As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Concord Care Center by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
