Job summary

Freeman Regional Health Services in Freeman, SD, is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to prepare, cook, and serve meals for patients, staff, and visitors.

You will work rotating day and evening shifts (4:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.), weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule, with benefits eligibility; strong customer service and adherence to sanitation standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School or GED required.
• Able to work the hours specified.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items for patients/residents, meal service, staff, cafeteria, and special functions.
• Meets standards established by appropriate leader for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.
• Delivers all products according to time schedule set for the specific item.
• Performs daily cleaning in accordance with approved standards.
• Delivers excellent customer service by utilizing scripts developed for Food Services.
