Job summary

Freeman Regional Health Services in Freeman, SD is seeking a part-time cook to prepare, cook, serve and distribute meals for patients, staff and visitors in accordance with approved menus. Shifts are days or nights with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include ensuring food quality, sanitation and timely delivery, making menu recommendations, and performing daily cleaning. Must be 18+, with a High School diploma or GED; food service training is a plus.

• Completes additional tasks as assigned.

A Brief Overview

Responsible for preparation, cooking, service, and distribution of food in accordance with approved menus for patients/residents, employees and visitors.

What you will do:

• Prepares all food items for patients/resident, meal service, staff, cafeteria, and special functions.
