Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents, while keeping a safe and clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, meet dietary modifications, and help ensure an enjoyable dining experience in a compliant environment.

The role involves maintaining food safety, proper portioning, and assisting with dishwashing and dining service as needed. This position supports a resident-centered dining program at Sunrise Senior Living.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow recipes and prepare meals to Sunrise standards.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage and equipment areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Pay Range:

17.30 - 21.70
