Job summary

Alliance Center for Education in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced cook for its Head Start Program. You will independently prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks for 100+ preschool children following USDA guidelines and transport meals to classrooms.

You will also retrieve containers after meals and collaborate with staff to maintain safety and quality in a busy early-education setting. This is a 10-month, 8-hour-per-day role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cook experience.

Job Details: Job Location: Alliance Center for Education - CHARLOTTE, NC, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Alliance Center for Education is seeking an experienced, qualified cook for its Head Start Program.

Candidate must be a self-starter, independently able to prepare breakfast, lunch and snack for 100-plus preschool age children, based on USDA guidelines.

Candidate is responsible for transporting meals from kitchen to classroom and retrieving service containers after each meal.

No phone calls or walk-ins.

This is a 10-month, 8 hours per day position.
