Job summary

The Cook position is based at Thorton Oaks Retirement Community in Brunswick, ME, supporting dining services for patients, guests, residents and staff. You will prepare meals according to menus, weight controls, and safety standards while ensuring quality and timely service.

Additionally, you will help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and proper upkeep of equipment and supplies. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with a ServSafe-type certification required within 3 months of hire and

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Experience: One year of relevant food production experience required. One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.
