Job summary

Touchmark, LLC is seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our community dining team in Bend, Oregon. You will prepare high-quality meals for residents, follow recipes, and contribute to a low-stress, welcoming kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Good understanding of reading and preparing recipes.

• Read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents following recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
• Contribute to the Gold Standard in cooking, food prep and presentation.

The ideal candidate will:

• Bring a minimum of one year of experience working as a cook in a high-volume kitchen
• Have a good understanding of reading and preparing recipes
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods
• Work well in a team environment (No Gordon Ramsay kitchen here!)
• Be willing to learn and grow in your craft!
• The ability to remain patient and display tactful and kind composure through tough situations
• Team player, ready to roll up your sleeves and work hard
• Reliable
• Be able to read, write, and speak English
