About the Role:

We are seeking a Cook to join our team at Avalon House, with full-time or permanent part-time positions available.

You will be based at our Avalon home, located at 14 John Street, Avalon Beach, NSW 2107.

Your working hours will be from Monday to Sunday: 09:30 am to 5:30 pm.

This is a permanent role within an established, dynamic team. We seek enthusiastic candidates with a positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly. This is a great opportunity in a growing and rewarding industry.

• Assist in food preparation and meal service
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Commitment to quality resident care
• Knowledge of infection control procedures
• Experience in catering/kitchen hand roles
• General kitchen cleaning and maintenance
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Food safety experience in healthcare setting (desirable)
