Job summary

Responsibilities include planning menus, following recipes, maintaining a clean kitchen, and supporting events. A California Food Handler Card and 1 year of professional cooking experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of professional cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, assisted living, or similar food service setting.
• Valid California Food Handler Card.
• Experience preparing meals from standardized recipes.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, physical, and TB test.
