Millwood Hospital (a UHS Facility) is a 134-bed mental health facility providing inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment since 1971. Located in Arlington, TX, near AT&T Stadium and DFW International Airport, it is part of Universal Health Services, Inc., a leading healthcare provider.

Position Summary:

The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals for patients and staff according to the menu cycle and production sheets. The Cook may also manage the department in the absence of Lead Cook or Dietary Manager.

Shift:

PRN hours.

Salary Range:

$17.00 - $19.00/hour

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience in quantity cooking.
  • Knowledge of modified diets.
  • Training in food service sanitation and food handler's permit.
  • Experience with industrial kitchen equipment.
  • Some supervisory experience is helpful.
