Job summary

Minnwest Bank in Sioux Falls seeks a Chief Operations Officer to lead planning and development of operational policies under the CEO. You will develop recommendations, oversee execution of plans aligned to growth and risk management, and direct the bank's functional capacity to deliver sustainable results.

Collaborate with senior management to define operating goals, prepare budgets, and guide change management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations, IT or related field.
• 8–10 years of related experience in banking.
• Strong background in operations with progressive leadership.
• Ability to lead collaboratively with senior managers.
• Regulatory environment and risk management experience.
• Experience leading organizational change and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and development of operational policies and execution under the CEO.
• Translate strategic vision into operational goals and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee resource deployment and evaluate software/hardware configurations for efficiency and economics.
• Establish KPI data collection and data-driven performance analysis.
• Develop operating budgets and establish effective operational policies under CEO guidance.
• Oversee change management initiatives and new process implementations.
• Participate in senior-level bank governing committees and cross-functional collaboration.
