Job summary

OnPoint is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide overarching leadership of the program and clinical services, ensuring services meet standards and contracts while maintaining financial discipline. The COO will mentor a management team, collaborate with the CEO/CAO, and steer strategic planning, policy formation and budget execution across Allegan County operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a human services field, public administration, healthcare administration or related field.
• Five to ten years of management or supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Experience working with individuals served by mental health and developmental disability services is valued.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise programs, teams and staff in the absence of a manager.
• Provide leadership for strategic and organizational planning and budget oversight.
• Support ongoing quality improvement and innovation across programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards and contractual obligations.
• Build relationships with local partners and stakeholders to maximize service delivery and reimbursement.
• Represent OnPoint in board committees and community engagements.
