Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Maintenance Technician II – Conveyor Systems in Henderson, NV. You will inspect, maintain, and repair our conveyor systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years of mechanical/electrical equipment experience, high voltage experience, and a valid driver's license. OnTrac offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience and/or training in mechanical and electrical equipment.
• High voltage electrical experience is required.
• Current Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment to keep operations running smoothly, responding in a timely manner to all material handling systems breakdowns.
• You will maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
• You will change and repair parts of conveyor systems, as well as rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
• You will use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
• You will perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
• You will conduct daily inspections of machinery for potential problems.
• From time to time, you may be called in after hours to ensure MHS (conveyor) systems are working at optimum capacity.
• You will maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
