Job summary

Berkshire Grey is seeking a Conveyor Engineering Lead to develop, optimize, and standardize conveyor system architectures for the Stride product platform. You will focus on modular modules, station interfaces, and simulation-backed layout decisions to improve configurability and scalability.

You will partner with Solutions Architecture, Applications Engineering, Controls, Software, and Hardware Engineering to strengthen the conveyor design and simulation foundation, enabling consistent customer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field relevant to conveyor systems.
5+ years designing or validating industrial automation systems or conveyor layouts.
Experience with conveyor design, accumulation, buffering, merges, diverts, station interfaces, and material flow constraints.
Experience with 2D/3D layout tools (AutoCAD or equivalent).
Experience with simulation tools (Emulate3D/Sim3D or similar).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain standard conveyor architecture and interface requirements for the Stride platform.
Lead simulation, system behavior, and trade studies evaluating topology and layout options.
Document standards, reference layouts, and modeling assumptions for engineering teams.
Collaborate with Controls, Software, and Solutions Architecture to align physical and simulated architectures.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across disciplines.
