Job summary

Berkshire Grey, Inc. is seeking a Conveyor Solutions & Simulation Lead to design, optimize, and standardize the conveyor architecture for the Stride platform.

You will develop reusable modules, define interfaces, and drive simulation-based layout decisions across engineering teams. Responsibilities include leading modeling efforts, validating assumptions, and ensuring manufacturability, lifecycle cost, and throughput targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• 5+ years designing, modeling, or validating industrial automation systems.
• Experience with conveyor design and material flow constraints.
• Experience with layout tools and simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard conveyor architecture, reusable building blocks, layout rules, and interface requirements for the Stride platform.
• Establish and document technical standards, reference layouts, design templates, and simulation assumptions.
• Lead simulation, system behavior, and trade studies to evaluate topology, buffering, and layout alternatives.
• Develop and maintain simulation models and validation methods for system-level decisions.
