Job summary

Legacy Staffing seeks an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a recycling plant in Lost Hills, CA. The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing conveyors and related equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, is skilled with conveyors, and holds a high school diploma with a valid driver’s license. Welding/fabrication and basic electrical/controls knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with conveyor systems and plant equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass drug screen and physical.
• Welding, fabrication, and basic electrical/controls experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, and related components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment per schedules.
• Assist with alignment, installation, and adjustment of conveyor and processing equipment.
• Complete work orders, document repairs, and report recurring equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures, including lockout/tagout and use of PPE.
