Job summary

HUDSON CITY CONSULTING LIMITED LIAB is seeking a Shop Belt Fabricator / Utility Field Service Technician. This temp-to-perm role involves fabricating conveyor belts from bulk stock and performing field splicing at customer sites. After training, you will travel to sites to install belts while adhering to safety protocols.

The position requires physical endurance, the ability to read tape measures, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime, weekend work, and travel are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads and uses tape measures accurately (metric), for finished belt dimensions.
• Performs physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs and working at heights.
• Maintains a valid driver's license and passes pre-employment drug screening.
• Adheres to safety procedures and uses PPE as required.
• Willing to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and travel for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate conveyor belts from bulk stock to finished sizes.
• Perform field installations and splice belts at customer sites.
• Travel to customer sites after training; set up work areas and equipment.
• Follow safety requirements and company policies during all tasks.
