Job summary

UPS in Oklahoma City is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic or Industrial Electrician to support the package sorting system and related equipment. The role covers a broad range of maintenance tasks to keep UPS facilities operating efficiently; shift is 1pm–10pm, Monday through Friday, at 901 South Portland Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73108.

This permanent, full-time position offers a starting pay of $37.75 per hour with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving ability.
Proficient in the safe use of common shop tools and equipment.
Experience in maintenance on conveyor belts.
Knowledge of electrical and building schematics.

Responsibilities

Inspect and repair mechanical components including motors, belts, pulleys, and conveyors.
Troubleshoot and replace electrical equipment such as control stations, relays, and PLCs.
Inspect and service pneumatic equipment like compressors, hoses, and coils.
Inspect and repair hydraulic components such as hoses and pumps.
Weld handrails, conveyor supports, and related structures.
Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and plant equipment.
