Job summary

Edwards Legal in Brighton is seeking a Solicitor or experienced Fee Earner to join its central Residential Property team. The role offers reduced hours and the possibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

You will handle freehold and leasehold transactions, sales and purchases, remortgages, co-ownership, probate sales and buy-to-let properties, with lease extensions or enfranchisement experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience handling freehold and leasehold property transactions.
• Experience with sales, purchases, remortgages and co-ownership.
• Knowledge of probate sales, divorce sales, and buy-to-let/investment properties.
• Lease extensions or enfranchisement experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Join a two-partner Residential Property team.
• Handle freehold/leasehold transactions, sales and purchases, remortgages, and buy-to-let properties.
• Assist with probate sales and co-ownership matters.
• Support lease extension/enfranchisement cases when available.

Are you a Residential Property lawyer/Paralegal looking for a role which offers flexibility of reduced hours and the chance to work from home 1-2 days per week?, Our client is seeking a Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Fee Earner to join this central Brighton practice based offering a range of legal services including Property, Probate, Family, Litigation and Business services/advice.
You will be joining a two Partner Residential Property team dealing with freehold and leasehold, sales and purchases, remortgages, co-ownership, probate sales, divorce sales and buy-to-let and investment properties. Any experience with lease extensions or enfranchisement would be an added advantage.
This role can offer reduced hours/days, some home/remote working is also on offer.
