Job summary

POM Wonderful is seeking a Conveyance Coordinator to support the Conveyance Supervisor in daily plant-wide conveyance, receiving, and material movement. You will help ensure quality, safety, inventory accuracy, and documentation, while guiding forklift and yard personnel and assisting with training and audits.

Seasonal duties include yard coordination for fresh-fruit trailers, trailer inventory, and safe movement of trailers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, logistics, or material handling preferred.
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with verifying inbound materials and required documentation.
Support daily staffing assignments and shift coverage.
Provide floor-level direction to forklift and yard goat operators.
Assist with training employees in safe practices, SOPs, and documentation.
Monitor GMP, food safety, and departmental standards.
Address unsafe conditions or performance concerns to the Conveyance Supervisor.
Maintain records for inbound/outbound shipments and related documents.
Coordinate with inventory, purchasing, shipping, and production to support material availability.
Inspect material-handling equipment and report repairs.
Direct safe movement of shipments from receiving to storage/production areas.
Assist with internal audits and corrective actions related to GMP and safety.
Track department performance and suggest process improvements.
Support yard coordination during harvest season.
