Job summary

GHD seeks a Conveyance Engineer to join our Design Delivery Organization in Northern California. The role supports water and wastewater projects across multiple public and private clients, with a hybrid work model combining in-office collaboration three days a week and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include developing PS&E packages, performing hydraulic analyses, and using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation to produce construction plans, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in civil engineering.
Professional Engineer license preferred in California or can be acquired within 5 years.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities to work both within a team and independently.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software programs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Design Delivery Organization on water and wastewater projects (conveyance, storage, pumping).
Develop and prepare PS&E packages and technical reports for delivery.
Conduct field work to evaluate project requirements and support construction administration.
Perform hydraulic analyses using manual or computer-based software.
Prepare design reports, project specifications, and cost estimates.
Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce construction plan sets.
