Job summary

Gresham Smith, a culture of Genuine Ingenuity, seeks a Conveyance Engineer in the Southeast. You will independently design pump stations and conveyance systems, perform hydraulic modeling, and prepare calculations and reports for water and stormwater projects.

You’ll support clients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to impactful infrastructure in Tennessee and Georgia while advancing your career in a people-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• P.E. licensure is required.
• 6+ years in water, wastewater, and stormwater/conveyance projects in a consultant capacity; lead portions of design.

Responsibilities

• Design pump stations and conveyance systems; lead portions of pump station design.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling for conveyance systems.
• Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and cost estimates.
• Support construction with field visits and contractor coordination.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to meet project goals.
