Phenix Corporation is hiring a Slitting Machine Operator to join our Indiana facility. You will set up and operate slitting machines, read work orders, monitor tension and cut accuracy, and document production data to ensure quality rolls.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders and production instructions.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure proper tension, alignment, and cut accuracy.
• Measure finished rolls to verify width, diameter, and quality standards.
• Inspect materials for defects and ensure finished products meet quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine adjustments and basic preventative maintenance.
• Complete required production documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and warehouse teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
