Job summary

Phenix Corporation is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our packaging film production team. You will set up and operate slitting machines, load and unload rolls, monitor tension and cut accuracy, and help maintain quality across finished products.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adhere to 5S and safety standards, complete production documentation, and collaborate with leadership and warehouse teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in manufacturing, converting, or slitting operations preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to read measuring devices.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Commitment to safety in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specs.
• Load and unload rolls of material.
• Identify and report quality, equipment, or material issues.
• Monitor machine operation for proper tension, alignment, and cut accuracy.
• Perform basic machine adjustments under supervision.
• Inspect materials to ensure quality of finished products.
• Assist with routine adjustments and basic preventative maintenance.
• Complete production documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, 5S workplace and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and warehouse teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Assist with the setting up and operation of slitting machines according to job specifications
• Load and unload rolls of material
• Identify and report quality, equipment, or material issues

• Perform other related duties as assigned
