Job summary

You will coach hourly employees, manage staffing and performance, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to achieve production and service goals. A strong culture of accountability is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising corrugated converting manufacturing.
• Ability to lead teams and drive accountability in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coaching hourly production employees.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to train on first shift and work other shifts as needed.
• Union manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience with KIWI production systems, SQF, or BRC standards is a plus.

The Converting Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Lead and support converting operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and develop hourly manufacturing employees to strengthen team performance.
• Drive proactive safety initiatives, hazard identification, and corrective action efforts.
• Champion waste reduction, equipment optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to achieve production and customer service goals.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and employee development activities.
• Support facility improvement and transformation efforts through strong leadership and change management.

The Converting Supervisor should have the following qualifications:

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within corrugated converting manufacturing.
• Strong ability to lead teams, build culture, and drive accountability in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coaching, training, and developing hourly production employees.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to train on first shift and work any shift based on business needs.
• Experience in a union manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with KIWI production systems, SQF, or BRC standards is a plus.
