Job summary

US DISPLAY GROUP INC in Dover, DE seeks a Converting Superintendent to lead all converting department operations ensuring safe, efficient production of corrugated products. You will oversee personnel, scheduling, quality assurance, and continuous improvement while aligning with safety and environmental standards.

You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Scheduling, and Customer Service to meet customer expectations and operational goals while managing budgets and staffing.

Qualifications

5–10 years of manufacturing experience in corrugated packaging.
Supervisory or management experience overseeing converting operations.
Knowledge of corrugated converting equipment and finishing operations.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversee all converting operations across equipment types.
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staff.
Ensure production schedules meet delivery and quality goals.
Monitor KPIs like safety, productivity, waste, downtime, and OEE.
Promote safety culture and OSHA compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S.
Collaborate with Maintenance to optimize preventive maintenance.
