Job summary

Sofidel America is seeking a Converting Production Planner with procurement responsibilities to support our converting operations across multiple sites. The role requires commuting to Shelby, NC and Duncan, SC facilities with occasional air travel to other U.S. sites.

You will develop and manage the Master Production Schedule, coordinate with Sales and Production, and handle procurement in line with signed framework agreements. Strong Excel and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3 years of production scheduling or planning experience.
• Experience in paper manufacturing or converting operations is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage Master Production Schedule (MPS) for converting operations across sites.
• Lead forecasting activities to improve forecast accuracy and production efficiency.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Production for schedule inputs and capacity planning.
• Perform procurement for raw materials aligned with production plans and supplier agreements.
• Prepare inventory reports and analyze variance, turnover, and accuracy with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Paper Mill Planning, and Production Manager to confirm schedules.
