Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Devens, MA is seeking a Production Supervisor – Converting to oversee maintenance operations and maximize plant uptime. You will coach and develop craftsmen while enforcing safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities include leading shift operations, coordinating with departments, tracking KPIs, and driving continuous improvement. Prior experience in manufacturing, lean methods, and a strong safety mindset are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of related experience.
• Manufacturing and corrugated supervisory experience preferred.
• Lean environment experience and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shift operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Be the first point of contact for operators on maintenance or production issues.
• Support continuous improvement and enforce control procedures.
• Coordinate production with other departments to meet goals and schedules.
• Monitor activities to reduce waste and adhere to schedules.
• Input production data and track KPIs like efficiency and downtime.
