Job summary

ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, seeks an Assistant - Converting to support manufacturing operations, uphold quality standards, and ensure safe, efficient production.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team to operate converting equipment, perform QC checks, document data, and contribute to continuous improvement through Lean practices and efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Knowledge of converting machine operation and basic maintenance.
• Familiar with GMPs and industrial safety procedures.
• Proficient in Excel and data entry for KPI reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and team communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate converting machines per guidelines to ensure output.
• Perform routine QA checks and record KPI data.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures for a safe workplace.
• Handle raw materials and assist in daily production planning.
• Do basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Record production data and machine parameters in reports.
• Contribute to Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate status and scheduling with team and supervisors.
