Job summary
Babygold is seeking a freelance/contract UX/UI Website Designer to redesign and refresh the Shopify storefront. You will craft a modern, on-brand ecommerce aesthetic, focusing on usability, navigation, and conversion optimization across desktop and mobile.
Work with our US-based team and a developer partner to implement approved designs on Shopify, with ongoing updates and design needs for banners and promotional materials.
Qualifications
- Strong sense of modern, tasteful visual design with focus on ecommerce
- UX thinking: design decisions should improve conversion and usability
- Graphic design across web, banners, packaging, and promotional materials
- Experience collaborating with developers or design/dev partners for implementation
- Comfortable working remotely with a US-based team
- Available for ongoing freelance/contract work, not just a single project
Responsibilities
- Redesign and/or refresh the UX/UI of the Shopify storefront
- Create a clean, modern, on-brand ecommerce aesthetic
- Improve site usability, navigation and conversion-focused layout
- Optimize for mobile shopping experience
- Coordinate with a developer to implement approved designs on Shopify
- Periodic website updates and maintenance
- Banner and promotional graphic design for website, email and social
- Other graphic design needs as they arise
