Job summary

Omilia is seeking a Mid Software Engineer (Conversational AI Application Developer) to design, implement, and maintain high-quality conversational AI applications on the Omilia Cloud Platform. You will own features end-to-end, drive technical execution, and mentor teammates as you gain experience.

You will build dialogs, upload NLU data, test thoroughly, and coordinate deployments across Dev/UAT/Prod. This role requires strong JavaScript/Node.js skills, RESTful API knowledge, and hands-on NLU

Qualifications

Solid experience in software development for AI-driven conversations.
Strong coding skills with JavaScript/Node.js and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with NLU concepts and conversational design.

Responsibilities

Write clean, maintainable code to build conversational dialogs and integrate with backend services.
Prepare and upload NLU training data, manage intents and policies.
Perform unit testing and analyze logs to resolve runtime errors.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to release steps.
Participate in stand-ups and sprint planning with accurate estimates.
Manage deployments across environments following change protocols.
