Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a Conversation Designer II to shape engaging AI-driven chatbot and IVR experiences. You will design dialog flows, validate functionality, and optimize language for seamless user interactions.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years designing natural dialog for AI/chatbot tools, knowledge of NLP and prompt engineering, and strong UX writing. This role supports a hybrid work model with in-office and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing natural dialog flows for AI/chatbots/IVR systems.
• Knowledge of NLP and prompt engineering within conversational interfaces.
• Experience with voice interaction and information design.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent UX writing for messaging and voice in conversational interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the chatbot/IVR design and user experience using data-driven insights.
• Participate in discovery, delivery, and iteration across product phases.
• Lead design reviews with product teams to ensure user-centric solutions.
• Deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment.
• Present and advocate for user-centered design and articulate design decisions.
