Charleston County Environmental Management is seeking a safety-minded outdoor worker who enjoys serving the public at our convenience centers. The role focuses on customer service and a variety of site tasks, with the primary site at HHH Bees Ferry Convenience Center.

Open to applicants at an hourly rate of $15.00–$16.96, this position requires a valid SC driver's license, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and a schedule from 7:30am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with safe driving record
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds
• One (1) year of experience in dealing with the public/ Customer Service
• This position requires the employee to reach and push with hands and arms; stand; use hands to handle, feel, grasp or operate objects, tools or controls; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use mental acuity and repetitive motion; and walk, talk and hear.
• Work a flexible schedule from 7:30am-6pm Mon- Sat
• Ensuring the timely opening and closing of assigned convenience center
• Maintaining convenience center and surrounding areas are clean and free of debris.

This employee’s primary site will be at HHH Bees Ferry Convenience Center.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $15.00 - $16.96

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with safe driving record

Minimum Qualifications

Position requires an 8th grade education OR any equivalent combination of training and work experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
