Job summary

Charleston County Environmental Management seeks a highly motivated, safety-minded individual who enjoys outdoor work and assisting the public at Convenience Centers. This floater position is available for any and all center sites, offering reliable, friendly service in an outdoor setting.

Hourly range is $15.00-$16.96. The role requires SC driver's license with a safe driving record, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and at least 1 year of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with safe driving record.
• Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• One year of experience in dealing with the public/ Customer Service.
• Ability to present a positive attitude when dealing with the residents of Charleston County.
• Position requires reaching, pushing, standing, handling objects, sitting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule from 7:30am-6pm Mon-Sat
• Ensuring the timely opening and closing of assigned convenience center
• Maintaining convenience center and surrounding areas are clean and free of debris.

Charleston County Environmental Management is looking for a highly motivated, safety-minded individual who likes working outdoors, assisting members of the general public, providing outstanding customer service and performing a variety of tasks at our convenience centers. This employee will be a floater which will be available for any and all Convenience Center Sites.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $15.00 - $16.96

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with safe driving record
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
• One (1) year of experience in dealing with the public/ Customer Service
• Ability to present a positive attitude when dealing with the residents of Charleston County
• This position requires the employee to reach and push with hands and arms; stand; use hands to handle, feel, grasp or operate objects, tools or controls; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use mental acuity and repetitive motion; and walk, talk and hear.
